Paul Schockemöhle

The name Paul Schockemöhle, as well as his trade mark P.S., has represented a guarantee for success in international showjumping sport for many years now. Three times in succession, 1981, `83, and `85 P.S. won the European Championships with Deister. This is a record in itself, and furthermore it is in addition to a selection of Olympic medals and wins in all significant Grand Prix and other important competitions.

P.S., however, is not only a champion himself - he can also make champions. Franke Sloothaak, Ludger Beerbaum und Dirk Hafemeister, trained at his yard to become Olympic winners. Eddie Macken, Otto Becker, Valerio Sozzi, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum all matured into top-class international riders at his premises in Mühlen. And also the success of the Saudi Arabian Olympic team in Atlanta - which saw two riders into the individual finals - is attributed by insiders to the work of Paul Schockemöhle.

But not only has he formed riders.
Numerous highly successful showjumping horses have also come from his yard. These include the Olympic winner "Walzerkönig" as well as Grand Prix horses such as "Comodoro", "Qualdandro", "Nike", "Seven Up", "Quin Chin", "PS Priamos", "Cinnamon", "Cim Christo", "Qredo", "Lets Talk About", and "Waterford Crystal", to mention just a few of them. Furthermore P.S. is one of the greatest breeders in Europe.
